Are you passionate about history? Do you like giving back to your community? Albany Regional Museum has volunteer opportunities for you! Regardless of your age, health, time constraints, skills or talents, if you have the desire to help the museum, we will find a project for you. See some of the possibilities below.

COLLECTIONS & EXHIBITS DEPARTMENT

  • Cataloging archives

  • Scanning photographs

  • Rehousing artifacts

Events & outreach

  • Planning and assisting with ARM events

  • Promoting events and fundraisers

  • Booth-sitting at community events

Visitor Services DEPARTMENT

  • Greeting visitors and reception duties

  • Assisting with private events and rentals

  • Helping with general operations tasks

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

  • Leading group tours

  • Leading school field trips

  • Researching topics for education programs

BOARD MEMBER

Are you interested in doing more to support us? Become an Albany Regional Museum Board Member! Terms are 3 years with a time commitment of 1-2 meetings a month.
