In 1963, Jesse Settlemier bought 214 acres of land in what would become Woodburn, Oregon. He went on to start a successful nursery business, attract other aspiring business owners to the area, and found a town around them. In this presentation, Cindy Thomas, Settlemier House docent, will discuss this historic house and how the Settlemiers shaped the history of Woodburn.
