On December 8th, 1870, the first train arrived in Albany via the Oregon & California railroad line. For December’s First Friday event, we invite train enthusiasts young and old to join us in a train craft and discussion about locomotives of the past, present, and future.

This event will feature:

• A construction paper train craft

• A model train display

• Discussions with fellow train enthusiasts

• Pictures and videos of different types of trains, present and historic

• Making new friends who share your love of trains

• And more!

This event is free to participate in and admission is waived during First Friday hours.
