On December 8th, 1870, the first train arrived in Albany via the Oregon & California railroad line. For December’s First Friday event, we invite train enthusiasts young and old to join us in a train craft and discussion about locomotives of the past, present, and future.

Activities will include:

• Making a construction paper train craft

• Seeing model trains presented by the Oregon Electric O Gaugers Club

• Talking about trains with fellow train enthusiasts

• Looking at pictures of different types of trains, present and historic

• Making new friends who share your love of trains!

This event is free to participate in and admission is waived during First Friday hours.
