 Volunteering
Volunteering is an excellent way to get involved with your community and is a great way to learn about Albany history, and develop new skills.  We offer a wide variety of positions depending on your area of interest and experience.

Become a Volunteer:
Come into the museum and pick up or download our Volunteer Application to begin the process.  After you complete the application, you can either mail it to us, or drop it off.  NOTE: You will need to attend the volunteer orientation before volunteering and commit to 4 hours a month minimum.

Look and see what volunteers are doing at ARM...  
Volunteers give presentations at our annual cemetery tour, an opportunity to learn more about Albany’s history.

Living history volunteers help visitors to understand what life was like in pioneer days.

Volunteers dress in their finest and serve visitors at the annual spring tea.

Volunteers help prepare craft projects for students at spring break events.

Volunteers help maintain the building.
