5th Annual Membership Spring Tea

Albany, Oregon is where Abigail Scott Duniway became empowered to take on the challenge of women’s rights.  In 2012, Oregon will commemorate 100 years of women in Oregon having the right to vote in 2012, we are looking forward to honoring her life and commitment to suffrage as well as all those who joined her in this pursuit. It seems appropriate to begin the commemoration with our spring tea.

This year's topic was
"Tea, True Womanhood, and Uppity Women"

The rich history of this topic will be explored through stories, journals, songs, and readings, with our special guest speaker, author and playwright:
